In order to bring the highest version of yourself to everything you do, you must be performing at your highest level. That means making sure you get enough sleep, eat well, exercise, meditate, and take care of your mind, body, and soul. Sometimes we think we have to show how hard we work by burning ourselves out, but I promise you it’s so much bet ter to find the balance. You will feel happier. You will be more productive. And your work will be better.
Look at your life and find balance in all aspects and areas.
Balance is the key in everything you do. Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale salad when your body needs it. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are.
Be brave, bold, spontaneous and loud and let that complement your abilities to find silence, patience, modesty and peace. Aim for balance. Make your own rules and follow your own path and don’t let anybody tell you how to live according to theirs.
Appreciate everything. Appreciate it when you go out on the street and the light is green. Appreciate it when someone gives you a small candy. Appreciate every compliment you receive. Appreciate the love that people give you. Appreciate every breath that someone takes before they tell you something because they took it for you.
Appreciate even the bad things because there’s no better thing than balance and balance doesn’t exist without bad things. Appreciate your balance. Appreciate your life. Appreciate yourself.
Your anger? It’s telling you where you feel powerless. Your anxiety? It’s telling you that something in your life is off balance. Your fear? It’s telling you what you care about. Your apathy? It’s telling you where you’re overextended and burnt out.
Your feelings aren’t random, they are messengers. And if you want to get anywhere, you need to be able to let them speak to you, and tell you what you really need.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Adults seeking advice from elementary school kids on how to cope up with life, literally the world is losing it’s sense of balance. Thinking of kids, this is more than cute in my eyes. I asked my friend Frank’s 20 month old nephew what he wants to eat when we were in supermarket. He replied; “EVERYTHING IN THAT” while pointing his finger to the ice cream freezer. Why can’t adults be this simple as kids!! LIFE IS FUN, LET IT BE.)
If you tell a skiier to don’t lose balance or don’t get hit by a tree, they definitely will. So their trainer usually tells them to follow the path & nothing more.
Our Human brains are so stupid that we can’t comprehend the NEGATIVE. For example; If i tell you to not think about an elephant, you can’t follow that one. Didn’t you just think about an elephant right right now?
Life is like that & most people are exactly like that. The people who worry too much about failure/betrayal/getting cheated/behaving bad are the ones who usually do all those negative things as their first line of defence. And later overthinking makes everything worse with time.
Just become confident & stay consistent on your journey, i believe you can do that. Confident & consistent with your thoughts/mindset. Confident & consistent with communication/behaviour. Confident & consistent with your lifestyle/habit/choices/goals. Confident & consistent with the way you live. You don’t need different stories for different people. In short, you don’t need that negativity to prosper inside you. Follow the path of light. Life is fun, let it flourish.
BALANCE is the key in everything you do. Dance all night long and workout next day. Or practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale salad when your body needs it. Wear new kicks on saturday and walk barefoot on sunday. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are. Be brave, bold, spontaneous and loud and let that complement your abilities to find silence, patience, modesty and peace.
Aim for BALANCE. Remain consistent in your walk of life. Make your own rules, follow your own path and don’t let anybody tell you or influence you how to live according to theirs. (Not my words).
