We always hear “Slow and steady wins the race”, and though I love this idea.
I actually love the idea of slowing down to savor the little moments in life even more.
Living in our fast-paced world today, it’s easy to get into a busy routine and sometimes we literally don’t have time to catch our breath.
Not only is this not healthy for our bodies and our stress levels, but it takes the joy out of whatever we’re doing.

I’ve found that time goes quickly, and if I don’t stop and slow down, I miss the little moments.
So whatever place you’re rushing to or goal you are rushing to get, remember to enjoy the process too, otherwise what’s the point?

When you start to get wrapped up in your busy life, pause, take ten deep breaths, and try meditating or doing something that calms you down.
STAY STRONG & STAY CONSISTENT WITH THE WAY YOU ARE. (Not my words).

FEELINGS, the thing about this way that you feel right now is that it’s only temporary.
I know that your mind is consumed right now, suffocating; it’s like you can’t find a way to think about anything other than the things that are causing you anxiety.
These feelings don’t last.
It may not feel like it right now, but this feeling will fade; maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you will smile again, you will feel like you again, you will feel happy and full of life again.
Nothing is permanent.
That’s the bittersweet part about life.
That’s why it’s so important to appreciate the truly amazing parts and people in your life while also understanding that the bad days won’t last forever.
Always be present, always be grateful, always know that you’ll get through this obstacle and the one after that.

You’re so much stronger than you think you are right now.
Think about it; you’ve gotten through every tough day in your life so far, and this is no different.
Take a big breath and think of all the things you have to be grateful for and breathe out all the bad.
You are in control of how you feel.
You are in control of this moment.
YOU ARE IN CONTROL. PERIOD.

This is your life. You’re allowed to change your mind. To change your heart. You’re allowed to be a different person. To wake up one day and not want to do the things you’ve been doing all your life. You’re allowed to love who you want. To move on from the people who are not good to you. To let go of anyone without any kind of explanation & without any kind of regret. You’re allowed to make mistakes. To learn from them or not to learn from them and experience everything all over again. You’re allowed to forget your past if you want to or to stay in it, but you must also understand that this is not how you will grow. You’re allowed to change careers. To dress differently. To chase different dreams. To change locations, even if, at first, you’re terrified to do so. You’re allowed to dislike yourself but also allowed to change those same parts you don’t see eye to eye with. To work on them until you’re completely comfortable with who you are.

This is your life. Make it count. Make your own validation. Your own path. Your own way of life. You are enough. And you are not broken. You’re a lot stronger than you want to believe. Now breathe. Be you.
