Be a walking contradiction. Be strong and soft. Be deep and lighthearted. Be beautiful and intelligent. Be confident and humble. Be someone with a quick wit and a cheap sense of humor. Be content climbing a mountain and enjoying the sweetness of doing nothing.
The world may try and classify you as one thing because that is far easier to understand than a person who has a little bit everything in them. And you may feel misunderstood for a while, but just remember your people can only find you if you’re brave enough to be yourself. There are parts of you that you have yet to discover. There is greater love that you have yet to find. There are experiences that are far beyond your imagination. And it’s all waiting for you. Life is waiting for you. So set aside your expectations and go explore it.

We are all searching for connection, and yet we are all avoiding eye contact. We are all searching for people who understand, but we close ourselves off before we discover that they can relate to the struggles we try so hard to hide. We convince the outside world that we are fine, even if we are aching for help, and that is why we don’t get it. That is why the distance between us and everyone around us widens. We are all running away from each other, when we should be running towards one another.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. I have shared this video couple times. I may share this one hundred more times in coming years. Key & Peele is one of my best stress busters.)
You have to be fearless about pursuing your dreams. You have to be willing to leave your comfort zone to grow not only as a human being but to push your own boundaries. I encourage anyone chasing dreams to be fearless; go into emotional areas that aren’t always comfortable or comprehensible. Do something out of your comfort zone today. Sometimes the things that scare us help us grow.
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. (Not my words.)
We’re all here on this earth for a reason. Some of us know when we are very young what we want to become, and some of us may need more time to discover themselves. No matter when you discover your future, you have a specific purpose on this earth. Your voice is unique and beautiful.
When you find out what makes you happy, embrace it and never let anyone tell you that you can’t live your dreams. List everything you want to accomplish in life. It doesn’t matter how big the dream sounds, the bigger the better. Find your purpose, find your voice.
It is important to know who you are, what you stand for and how you want to see yourself. You have your whole life for you, and you determine what you do with it and how you will experience your journey. There is no one who can tell you who you are, because you decide for yourself. You make your own choices, you choose your own direction and you determine your own steps.
Think about who you are, think about how you position yourself against others. Think of your qualities and your intentions. See yourself as the person you want to be, without thinking about your status, your score, your ability or the people around you. Nothing or nobody should affect who you are as a person, who you are in terms of thinking, who you are in your actions. The life you have for you is your chance to follow your dreams, to discover, to develop and to enjoy yourself. Imagine a life in which you are completely yourself, in which you fulfill your dreams. Live your life. Life is fun, let it be.
One of my favourite feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way trough how much you enjoy them and their existence.
Things are expected of you of your whole life, you are expected to make career, that you score well and have achieved a certain status. But life is not about status and work. These are extras.
What matters is that you can develop as a person. That you simply learn, discover and enjoy your journey. So instead of worrying about the numbers and status, you have to enjoy the journey and the small moments that can mean so much more.
I don’t want to be around people anymore that judge or talk about what people do. I want to be around people that do things. I want to be around people who believe in slow & steady progress. I want to be with people who gradually grow a rich character and a bank account. I want to be around people who remain consistent with their words, approach, intentions & journey of life. I want to be around people that dream and support and do things.
Supportive people bond long-term with growth mindset. Oppertunist comes to score petty short-term goals, it takes time but you will get rid of them today or tomorrow. (Not my words.)
Pay more attention to what stirs your heart. Pay attention to the music that makes you want to cry, or dance, or jump right out of your skin. Pay attention to what makes you happy truly happy, the kind of happy that drips from your bones, the kind of happy that gives you hope, and makes you believe that you have a reason to be here. Pay attention to the things that make you laugh, the things that make you smile. Really focus on figuring out what compels you. Really focus on discovering the aspects of the world that interest you and challenge you and make you want to learn and grow.
You have to pay attention, To the things that make you believe in being alive. To the people that support you and build you up and make you feel like you’re understood in a world that can sometimes feel like a haunted and hurtful place. You have to pay attention to the life you want to create for yourself. Because you are in charge of your own happiness. You are in charge of who you become. So, if something makes your soul feel like it is finally home, pay attention to it. Whether it is a job, or an idea, or a goal, or a person, or a place, just follow what makes you feel alive. Just make your life your own.

When I say I want to travel, I don’t mean I want to stay at resorts and go on tours with tour guides or buy key chains from souvenir shops. I don’t want to be a tourist. When I say I want to travel, I mean I want to explore another country and become part of it for 2-3 weeks. I want to discover small coffee/baguette shops in France, churrerias in Spain, Pasta/Pizza in Italy and much more beyond. I want to walk on beaches in Australia and browse the old book stores of London & Manchester. I want to hike the great wall of china and go cliff diving in Hawaii. I want to meet people who are not like me, but people who I can like all the same. I want to take pictures of things and places and people I meet, not stupid selfies for Instagram. I want my mind to be in constant awe of life on earth. I want to see things with new eyes & an open mind. I want to look at a map and be able to remember how I was transformed by the places I’ve been to, the things I’ve seen, and the people I’ve met. I want to come home and realize that I have not come home whole, but have left a piece of my heart in each place I have been. This, I think, is what is at the heart of adventure and this is why I plan on making my life one. Basically i will retire in my 30s while i am still a PhD research scholar/student & all these are my retirement plans.
Everyone is entering relationship, getting engaged or married or pregnant, then entering depression or their 5-month validity of joy. Meanwhile me & my bestfriend just wanna look fleek, stay single and travel, while building an automotive blog, selling atheleisure clothing & whey protein supplements online. Travel because you don’t remember years, you remember memories/moments.
