We have to realize that our lives could be gone in a moment. There are no guarantees that we will be here at this time next year. Learn to live each day to the fullest. Don’t complain. Don’t focus on what’s right or wrong. Be grateful for the opportunity to experience each day.
It’s been 5 years & i am always in a different city/country at this time of the year. I met some amazing people & lost touch with few. Most of them helped me shape & build what i am today. I can’t change everything & i accept what’s coming wholeheartedly. At the end i must agree, life is beautiful & i am grateful.
Relationships between family, friends, significant others, and colleagues are complicated and full of learning experiences. Nobody comes into this world knowing everything. We all go through different experiences, make mistakes, have successes, and then make more mistakes that we can learn from. The ability to trust and listen to the people in your life is the foundation all healthy relationships are built on.
While talking to friends, make sure you are really listening to what they have to say and aren’t distracted by something else. You owe that to them and you would want the same in return. Trust is a bond between two people that is found only when they are able to listen and understand where the other person is coming from. That to me is the only key to friendships and relationships.
It is important to know who you are, what you stand for and how you want to see yourself. You have your whole life for you, and you determine what you do with it and how you will experience your journey. There is no one who can tell you who you are, because you decide for yourself. You make your own choices, you choose your own direction and you determine your own steps.
Think about who you are, think about how you position yourself against others. Think of your qualities and your intentions. See yourself as the person you want to be, without thinking about your status, your score, your ability or the people around you. Nothing or nobody should affect who you are as a person, who you are in terms of thinking, who you are in your actions. The life you have for you is your chance to follow your dreams, to discover, to develop and to enjoy yourself. Imagine a life in which you are completely yourself, in which you fulfill your dreams. Live your life. Life is fun, let it be.
It’s so easy to walk by people and make judgments about who they are based on some small passing detail or flaw that you’ve observed. Maybe their attitude appears to be rude. Maybe they aren’t as outgoing as you are. Either way, without taking the time to actually get to know someone and hear what they’ve been through, you really have no right to judge anyone. The things we observe superficially are just that; they are false impressions that don’t tell you anything about what others have actually experienced.
Take the time to really get to know people. Ask them what their story is, and be a good listener. Sometimes the nicest people you come across are busy building life while being little carefree soaking the sunshine, and the judgmental ones go to church on sundays. Never judge a book by its cover.
In a generation of people who want to be heartless, and empty of feelings, then call it SAVAGE, it’ll be hard to be someone who is what a HUMAN should be. Do not become like the world.
Be loyal, be truthful, be consistent, be emotional, and be full of feelings. Be hungry for love, be thirsty for affection, and anything else human beings ought to desire. With time moving up, you will experience people who match your energy, enthusiasm & optimism.
Let others be foolish and cold. Don’t dim your light to become as dark as they are.
(This Instagram post got nothing to do with the post above. My love for G-Shock watches goes back to A-level/high school days. Not a secret i am a huge sneakerhead, but i love watches too. YES I have some 46 watches right now, 7 are Casio G-shock watches. And when my bestie DEMI sees this at evening, she can guess what to gift me during thanksgiving dinner.)😜
When I give, it does not come with strings. I’m not keeping track of what you owe me. When I give, I choose to do so without ulterior motives. I give because I’m genuine. I give because I know what it’s like to be without. To long for and be ignored. To speak and not be heard. To care for and have nothing returned. When I give it’s because I get it. It’s because I know the value in what I have in my heart and I refuse to let the world stop me from sharing that. But when things start being taken for granted, When you no longer appreciate my sincerity, I won’t switch, I won’t get angry, and I won’t be spiteful. I’ll just get smart and I’ll change your role in my life. Because when I give, I’m all in. But when I’m done, there’s no looking back.
I stopped sending paragraphs. I stopped telling people how to behave. I stopped entertaining retaliation & inconsistency. I stopped telling people how important is communication. I started walking away from all these crap, blocking, and distancing myself. Life is becoming peaceful. Sometimes being yourself & independent in life is better than being surrounded by halfass people.
(This post is not for those who came & vanished in past. It’s for my future person, in case you experience something is odd in me or missing in me, just say it and keep forgiving me till you experience the best of me.)
Mama said; “You never need to be religious. Religious people believe bit too much in god, angel, heaven, hell & demons. And that’s low-key toxic in 2021. But you must believe in KARMA, you will get what you give. Karma is real. The nature of our world is based on EQUILIBRIUM. Good intentions & kind acts will always be rewarded, even GOD’s existence depends on that goodness. Karma & Kindness go hand in hand. This tiny bit of knowledge is SPIRITUAL, not religious. Become little spiritual with time“.
My takeaway from this is; YOU AREN’T ALLOWED TO DISRESPECT PEOPLE. YOU CANNOT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE GARBAGE AND WORSHIP GOD AT THE SAME TIME. THAT’S BOTH DOUBLE STANDARDS & FAKEFUCKERY. Be truthful & real. If you have little time to make someone smile, do it. Buy a loaf of bread for a homeless person or crack a dick joke to a sad friend, both will help you score some good Karma for your trip to heaven when you leave this planet. If you think heaven is hoax, join hands with such people who will help you experience heaven on earth. Kindness towards the people who deserve is the easiest step towards your spiritual journey.
Your life is your own. I want you to read that sentence until it sinks all the way down inside your gut and meets every last impulse that tells you to put your intuition on pause, to place yourself second, to squeeze and bend and break into the molds of what everyone else wants you to be.
Your life is your own. I want it to pass through your head so many times it slowly clears out the debris of your fear. I want you to meditate on it until you realize that you are not too strange, you just have the courage to be your true self, you are not too different, you just have the courage to follow your own heart, you are not unworthy, you are just honest about the very natural human experience of feeling unworthiness.
Every person alive wishes to embody these very same forms of freedom. They are not judging you, they are expressing the parts of themselves they’ve judged into silence.
Your life is your own, and it always will be. You must find the courage to claim it, or it will pass by you untouched, a glimmering, lost potential of all that could have been. (Not my words).
You have to chase the things that ignite you. You have to do the things that bring you joy. You have to surround yourself with the people who bring you back home to yourself, with the people who respect you and embrace you in ways that make you feel like you are worthy and accepted and celebrated and loved. You have do the work to heal yourself, even when it hurts especially when it hurts, so that you do not continue to approach your life within the boundary of what is heavy within you. You have to put yourself out there, and you cannot worry about what other people think, you cannot rob yourself of experience or happiness or inspiration because you are scared of how you will be perceived. You have to be unapologetic in the way that you exist here. You have to believe that your ideas, and your hope, and your being, deserve to take up space. You have to believe that you have purpose.
Because our existence is finite. And as hard as that is to understand, as hard as that can be to connect with, from time to time remind yourself that in the most human way we are all living on borrowed time. We live as if we are promised the experiences and the potential we are chasing, we live as if we have control over what happens to us. But we don’t, and that is liberating, because it is pressing there is urgency within the lesson. It is meant to wake you up. Life is meant to be lived. (Not my words).
