True me.. Tap-1375..

The longer I live the more I realize the impact of attitude to life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts.
It is more important than the past,
than education,
than money,
than circumstanstances,
than failures,
than successes,
than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company, a church, a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for the day.
We can’t change our past.
We can’t change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable.
The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.
I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to us is 90% how I react to it. (Not my words.)

Learn to get back on track.
And get used to it.
Because there will be times where you mess up.
If it’s only one meal, one day or a weekend or even a week or an entire month, It will happen.
And that’s okay.
The secret is to learn to forgive yourself and start over again.

Just get up and leave the unhealthy habits behind you every single day, you must get used to this discomfort.
Some failures are necessary to taste SUCCESS.

Focus on making progress, not perfection.
Every good thing takes time.
You can’t rush things.
Growth is not linear, but a journey; one filled with challenges and opportunities to push to your destination.
No one can do it for you, it’s your journey.
And there will be days you’ll want to give up, but you can keep going.
There are no shortcuts to get there, so you have to embrace the process.

Think progress, not perfection.
Allow yourself to grow in the process.
Make room for failure too.
Just do your daily practice and cultivate a kind heart.
Bet on hard work.
Abandon impatience.
The results will come down when they’re ready.
Remember, consistent small steps are way better than just one big step with no further progress.

I know the easy option is to keep waiting until you are ‘ready’ but it’s going to get to a point where you realise that ‘someday’ is today and that there is no right time.

Ignore the fear of failure and jump when you need to.
It’s better to fail than to not try at all.

True me.. Tap-1307..

If youve never tasted a bad apple, you will not appreciate a good apple.
You have to experience life to understand life.
You have to endure disappointment in life, all kind of disappointments, you have to fall flat on your face and feel the pain.
Accept that a lot of your “friends” rather see you fall and fail.
That’s why we say “Jealousy is bad incurable disease”.
It’s hard to accept and it has a bitter taste, but thats life my friend.

At the end, don’t give up.
Don’t give up because, success is inevitable.
We have to fall before we find out who we really are and what we are capable of.

True self-care is not salt baths and chocolate cake.
It is making the choice to build a life you don’t need to regularly escape from.
And that often takes doing the thing you least want to do.
It often means looking at your failures and disappointments square in the eye and re-strategizing.

It is not satiating your immediate desires.
It is letting go.
It is choosing new.
It is disappointing some people.
It is making sacrifices for others.
It is living a way that other people won’t, so maybe you can live in a way that other people can’t.
