As I grew older, I learned that the key to surviving the day is not positivity, it’s acceptance.
Accepting that not all days are goood,
accepting that not all days are happy,
you will have bad days,
you will make mistakes,
you will fail,
you will mess up,
everything is not going to fall into place and that’s fine.

Positivity is a choice.
It’s your choice to choose it.
And sometimes if the day doesn’t turn out to be the best, then you have to accept it as it is with head held high in hope for a better tomorrow.
Acceptance is the key.

The most important lesson I’ve learned over this past year is, don’t let anybody make you cruel.

No matter how badly you want to give the world a taste of its own bitter medicine, it is never worth losing yourself.

Insecurities cause self-doubt.
You start expecting the worst, allowing yourself to take every wrong step & sabotage own growth in life.

Solution:
Find a motive to live.
Set a goal.
Take decisions rightfully: stay stuck to your decisions.

If you can’t find reasons behind your actions/words/moves; don’t do it because they are pure nonsense which may harm your peace of mind.
Be true to yourself first, everyone will acknowledge that with time.
Investment in self growth gratifies self-respect and self-esteem.
Be a TRUE you.

You don’t have to be positive all the time.
Different situations bring different feelings.
You are allowed to feel what you are supposed to feel.
It’s perfectly fine to feel sad.
It’s perfectly fine to feel angry.
It’s perfectly fine to feel annoyed.
It’s perfectly fine to feel frustrated.
It’s perfectly fine to feel scared.
It’s perfectly fine to feel anxious.

Having feelings doesn’t make you a ‘negative person’.
It makes you human.
But here the question is whether all those negative thoughts are dragging you down!!
Being optimistic about coming out from a negative scenario is more important than being postive all the time.

3. What can I do to make it right?

Most people forget the third part, which puts a question mark on their integrity.

Surround yourself with people who push you to be better.
No drama or negativity.
Just higher goals and higher motivation.
Good times and positive energy.
No jealousy or hate.
Simply bringing out the absolute best in each other.

Most people think going on a vacation, meeting family, hanging out with friends, dining out & shopping may improve their happiness quotient of life.
Those are small doses of happiness, not the whole form of happiness.
That’s not how life works.

Stop chasing HAPPINESS like a temporary emotion.
Happy today.
Sad tomorrow.
Broke next day.
Heartbroken another day.

Being happy is a personal thing.
It got nothing to do with anyone else.
You gotta keep doing what you love to do.
Happiness is highly dependent on quality of your thoughts.
Happiness is about enjoying what you have while working on what you want.

But then I look at their state of mind, their choices, their inconsistency, their lifestyle and how life treats them, that is enough punishment.
