Self-control is strength.
Calmness is mastery.
You have to get to a point where your mood doesn’t shift based on the insignificant actions of someone else.
Don’t allow others to control the direction of your life.
Don’t allow your emotions to overpower your intelligence.

True me.. Tap-1164..

To work on yourself is the best thing you can do.
Accept that you are not perfect, but you are enough.

And then start working on everything that destroys you.
Your insecurities.
Your ego.
Your dark thoughts.
You have to work on all.
You will see, in the end you’re going to make peace with yourself.

And that’s the greatest thing in the world.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. The problem with our education system & also with the society is; WE THINK DISCUSSING ABOUT MONEY IS A TABOO, which is pure nonsense in my eyes. Watch this & get little information about what can be sorted in how long time. You can afford anything, but not everything.)

Constantly analyze yourself.
Figure out why certain things upset you.
Question your own motives.
Understand your behavior.
This creates a pathway for change.
Acknowledging why you do the things you do is the first step in shifting out of toxic patterns.

True me.. Tap-1163..

Remember;
Most of your stress comes from the way you respond, not the way life is.
Adjust your attitude.
Change how you see things.
Look for the good in all situations.
Take the lesson and find new opportunities to grow.
Let all the extra stress, worrying, and overthinking go.
BE AN AUTHENTIC VERSION OF YOURSELF.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Big fan of Key & Peele, I had to share this. WELCOME TO DEMOCRACY.)

You need to ignore what everyone else is doing and achieving.
Your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself to live your best life.
You are not in competition with anyone else.
Plan to outdo your past, not other people.

Your competition isn’t other people, your competition is:

• Your procrastination.
• Your EGO.
• Unhealthy food you’re consuming.
• The knowledge you neglect to learn.
• Negative behavior you’re nurturing.
• Your lack of creativity.

True me.. Tap-1161..

Recovery is a process-no matter what it is you’re overcoming.
No one is better or greater for recovering faster.
It’s not a race.
You need to go at your own pace, even if that is pace is slow.
There will be days when you feel like giving up-don’t.
There will be days when you’re at risk of relapsing-don’t.
So long as you set your own pace and never go backward in your recovery, you’re making tremendous progress, and that’s all that matters.
So be proud of what you’ve accomplished for yourself.

Don’t compare your recovery process to others.
Remember that each of us heals physically, mentally, and emotionally at the pace that’s right for ourselves.
Give yourself the time you need and deserve.

Just remember, we are all toxic.
Every single human being is capable of being toxic, has been, currently is, etc.
But some people have the desire to be educated on it and do better while others will ignore any accountability and continue to act the same way.

Pay attention.

True me.. Tap-1160..

Life lessons it took me a while to learn:

1. Missing people is not a reason to reconnect with them.
It’s okay to remember people without rekindling.

2. You can’t talk to everyone about everything.
It’s okay to have certain people for certain topics.

3. When someone is envious of you, it’s not your job to make them feel better about who you are.
Be you shamelessly.

4. Assumptions are not rooted in fact.
If you want to know something, it’s always best to ask.

5. Authenticity equals freedom.
There’s nothing that someone can hold over you when you’re okay with who you are.
