Life is not made up by numbers, age is, and your age is not all that you are.
You got time.

I know the easy option is to keep waiting until you are ‘ready’ but it’s going to get to a point where you realise that ‘someday’ is today and that there is no right time.

Ignore the fear of failure and jump when you need to.
It’s better to fail than to not try at all.

The real glow up isn’t proving the people from your past wrong.
It is finally feeling so content and hopeful about your future that you stop thinking about them entirely.
When you want to change your life in order for it to look different, and only that, you are still orbiting around the opinions of people who didn’t love you, and didn’t have any intention to.

A real glow up is authentic.
It is lifting off all the cover-up bullshit and addressing the real problems.
It is healing.
It is changing, for good.
It is, for the first time, prioritizing your heart over someone else’s eyes.
The real glow up is realizing that you have nobody to prove wrong but yourself. (Not my words.)

Just always be the better person.
And make your intentions pure.
What and who you are is what you’ll attract, what you’ll maintain.
Pain is inevitable and it will always exist, but if you focus on understanding what you are feeling and why you are feeling it, you will overcome it.

Find something to be thankful for and begin to express gratitude.

You have blood pumping through your veins.
You have air flowing through your lungs.
You have a roof over your head and food on your table.
You have creativity that cannot be taken away and an undeniable purpose.

To me, cool means living for more than the next moment.
Cool doesn’t mean having the latest Dior, knowing people, being on the list, and sitting at Lucien.
Cool means you are your authentic self.

Cool means when you are alone, you can stand to be with yourself.
Cool means listening when others speak.
Cool means holding doors open and smiling.
Cool is compassion, understanding, love, and boundaries.
Cool is being good.
