True me.. Tap-975..

Sometimes we need tears to be able to access the deepest joy.
When times are hard, make sure you allow yourself to feel the sadness.
Let your tears fall knowing that they will surely pass and something wonderful is on its way to you.

If you’re sad, take some time to try and remember the joy that will undoubtedly follow.
Remember it’s always darkest before the dawn.

Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.
-PSALM 30:5.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Can’t say how appropriate is this song in such circumstances. But a light-hearted humour is welcome even during the darkest days. This song is both quirky & funny. Power to peace.)

The most important lesson I’ve learned over this past year is,
don’t let anybody make you cruel.
No matter how badly you want to give the world a taste of its own bitter medicine,
it is never worth losing yourself.

True me.. Tap-974..

If you’re feeling frightened about what comes next, don’t be.
Embrace the uncertainty.
Allow it to lead you places.
Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path toward happiness; don’t waste time with regret.
Spin wildly into your next action.
Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes, because you’ll never get another one quite like it.
And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over.
Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart, where your hope lives.
You’ll find your way again.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Lee Evans never fails to crack you up. And this one on Cardiff, watch it coz it’s hilarious. Let’s say 2 minutes hilarious & 2 minutes unreal.)

Mental health is so important.
Prioritize your personal wellness.
Take time to nurture yourself.

Don’t do things that you’re not happy with.
Don’t rush your healing. Relax.
Don’t judge where you’re at.
Don’t judge where you think you should be.
Just be kind and patient with yourself.

There will be times when we feel knocked down at every turn.
Grief, depression, and so much more.
It’s important to preserve a sense of humor.
You have to remember to laugh at these things or they’ll control you.
Laughter will help you see the light in the darkest of times.
It’s more powerful than you’ll ever know.
Even at your lowest points, keep your sense of humor and use it.

Man, when you lose your laugh, you lose your footing.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. I haven’t said anything on this Ukraine-Russia war situation till now. Other countries must stay away from joining this war because there’s a huge risk of further escalation.)

If there’s even a slight chance of getting something that will make you happy, risk it.
Life’s too short.
And happiness is too rare.

True me.. Tap-970..

I’ve had to learn the hard way who my real friends are, but the best way for me to tell is if they want to lift me up or bring me down.
I only want to be with people who support me and in turn make me feel stronger because of their love and belief in me and because of my love and belief in them.
You can’t have a friendship that’s one sided, you have to get as much as you give.

It might be worth letting a toxic person in your life know how you feel.
If they aren’t willing to change the way they treat you, consider not spending so much time with them.
(Not my words.)

Keep away from people who belittle your ambitions.
Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you too can become great.

Your AMBITION should be to get as much life out of living as you possibly can, as much enjoyment, as much interest, as as much experience, as much understanding.
And not to simply be what is generally called a “SUCCESS”.

-Eleanor Roosevelt.

True me.. Tap-966..

There are plenty of moments in our lives when we struggle with making decisions, whether they’re small or large.
Our heart can be telling us one thing, our head another, and our friends something entirely different.
It’s important to weigh all options, then do what your heart truly believes is right.
Don’t just do what your friends are telling you to do, you must make your own decisions based on your intuition.

Next time you have to make a decision, weigh all the options, especially those of the heart, while measuring the logical side in head.

Only do what your heart tells you to.

Be gentle on your loved ones who lack the strength to leave toxic situations.
What looks easy from the outside, may be a war they fight internally.
What feels like danger to you, could be a comfort zone for their insecurities.
What you think requires action, may require PATIENCE.
