Life doesn’t always go in a straight line.
Things get messy and tangled.
And our paths twist and turn in many directions.
The right things happen at the wrong time and opportunities get passed by.
Some things happen that we just cannot understand in the moment no matter how badly we want an answer.
And some things that we wish would happen just never do.

Life can be a little messy, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be wonderful.
Because even in the messiness, even in the mistakes and missed chances, even in the midst of not knowing what to do or where to turn, there are still so many beautiful moments.
There is still love and joy and light.
There is still laughter and kindness.
So maybe life is messy.
But maybe, it doesn’t need to be anything else.
Maybe it’s in all of the messiness that we can see all of the things that matter most of all.

World stopped accepting leadership of UK on economy after the fall of colonialism, and thanks to labours party which made a big dent on UK’s image by reiterating nonsensical issues on parliament floor. It’s just a start the way things are headed. People are worried about recession because we are already in a recession since a while. I can see even worse for USA in coming days.)

Types of PEOPLE you need to hang on to;

Enthusiastic listeners.
People who don’t make you guess if they’re mad.
Direct communicators.
The friend who helps you clean your room.
Those who are kind to those who can do nothing for them.
Messy folks who repeatedly get it wrong but never stop trying to get it right anyway.
Kindred spirits.
Loud laughers.
Pals who make the grocery store fun.
Loved ones who get as excited about your success as you do.
The person you feel comfortable crying in front of.
Sing-in-the-car friends.
People who text you to look at the moon.
People who text you just to say hi.
The one you’ve known since childhood who you can go a long time without talking to but nothing changes.
Those who understand the value of holding space.
The mentor who pushes you to do better because they want better for you.
Patient teachers.
Healers.
Scrappy souls.
Hard workers.
Friends you can joke about hypothetical situations with for hours on end.

The genuine ones.
Anyone who leaves you feeling good afterward, not just when you’re with them.
People who see your fault lines and say they have them too.
Anyone who came to mind as you read this.
Hold them close.
Love them hard.

When people act shady, allow them.
When people betray your trust, allow them.
But never, ever sink to their level.
Their choices are a direct reflection of who they are, not who you are.
No matter how angry, hurt, or disappointed you may be, do not allow them to make you bitter.
Be better.
React with love.
Sometimes that means retaliating with understanding and compassion; other times it means retaliating with acceptance and sheer silence.
Whatever it is, make sure it benefits you as a human being instead of lowering you into a position which you would rather not be in.

Normal people dont go around destroying other human beings.
Only those who are hurt, lost, and confused cause pain.
Don’t be one of them.
Just take the lessons and move on gracefully.

Fall in love with how hard you work,
with how hard you try to be a good person,
with the way you deal with problems.
Value all those things that you tend to ignore about yourself and stop being so hard on yourself.

The world is filled with people who, no matter what you do, no matter what you try, will simply not like you.
But the world is also filled with those who will love you fiercely.
The ones who love you: they are YOUR PEOPLE.

Don’t waste your finite time and heart trying to convince the people who aren’t your people that you have value.
They will miss it completely.
They won’t buy what you are selling.
Don’t try to convince them to walk your path with you because you will only waste your time and your emotional good health.
You are not for them and they are not for you.
You are not their cup of tea and they are not yours.

Politely wave them along and you move away as well.
Seek to share your path with those who recognize and appreciate your gifts, who you are.

Be who you are.
You are not everyone’s cup of tea and that is OK.
