Constantly analyze yourself. Figure out why certain things upset you. Question your own motives. Understand your behavior. This creates a pathway for change.
Acknowledging why you do the things you do is the first step in shifting out of toxic patterns.
Discipline is all about mastering self-control. It is a form of self-care. You will never always be motivated. You have to learn to be disciplined.
Discipline is necessary, so that you can love yourself enough to take action based on your inner voice. You have to act regardless of how you feel. You have to take action against all temptations you face.
DISCIPLINE is choosing between what you want now and what you want most, the choice is yours.
Discipline hurts. It’s uncomfortable. It feels restrictive. It feels like a punishment. But it’s the greatest gift you can ever give to yourself.
Do the things you don’t want to do that will get you to the place you want to be. Purpose must always remain bigger than pain. And DISCIPLINE is the only driver towards your purpose. (Not my words.)

Check yourself. Sometimes you are the toxic person. Sometimes you are the mean, negative person you’re looking to push away. Sometimes the problem is you. And that doesn’t make you less worthy. Keep on growing. Keep on checking yourself. Keep on motivating yourself.
Because mistakes are opportunities. Look at them, own them, grow from them and move on. Do better, be better. You’re human. It’s okay.

An Eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him; “Can I also sit like you and do nothing?” The eagle answered; “Sure, why not.”
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit, and ate it.
Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.
(This music video got nothing to do with the post above. I must have shared it couple times already, one of my favourite songs which stays on my playlist both in gym & also while flying. Check it.)
