Sometimes, less is more. In a world full of bells and whistles, it’s refreshing to keep things simple. Think about it: a cozy night in with a good book, a delicious meal, and your favorite person.
It’s the little things that count. So, next time you’re feeling overwhelmed, remember the beauty of simplicity.
We are the books we read. We are the films we watch. We are the music we listen to. We are the people we meet. We are the dreams we have. We are the conversations we engage in. We are what we take from these. We are the sound of the ocean. We are the breath of fresh air. We are the brightest light and the darkest corner. We are a collective of our experiences.

I don’t desire much. I like sunsets and looking at the sky. I love eating good food and having conversations with humans. From time to time I think I sing well in the shower. I’m just a fan of being alive.
Always be the best person you can be. Be kind even when you’re tired. Be understanding even when you’re angry. Do more than you’re asked, and don’t ask for anything in return. Don’t silently expect anything either. Listen when someone talks, and really listen too, stop just thinking of how you’ll reply. Never jump over a conversation that’s initiated by other person. Tell people that you love them and that you appreciate them. Go out of your way to do things for people. Be the greatest person you can possibly be and when you mess up, make up for it in the next moment or minute or day.
One thing you should never do? Never spend your time trying to prove to anybody that you’re great, your actions will speak for themselves and we only have limited time on this earth, don’t waste it.
If someone doesn’t see your light, don’t worry. Like moths, GOOD PEOPLE are attracted to flame and to light, and they will come.
8 Ways to calm yourself when life is getting tough:
1. Walk: Walking helps clear your mind. It offers you a different perspective.
2. Indulge: Take a day off to spend a whole day doing exactly what you want.
3. Be Generous: Give something to a total stranger. Acts of giving make us feel warm and fuzzy inside.
4. Have a heart to heart conversation with yourself: Sit in a coffee shop or a busy street/part and soak up your surroundings. You don’t have to talk to people.
5. Educate yourself: Research what it is you are experiencing. Arm yourself with knowledge and the resources to tackle the problems head-on.
6. Preparation: Write the day’s to-do list the evening before.
7. Strengths: Write down a list of 20 of your strengths.
8. Keep going forward: Keep taking small steps, no matter what. Being stagnant doesn’t serve you.
This is your life. You’re allowed to change your mind. To change your heart. You’re allowed to be a different person. To wake up one day and not want to do the things you’ve been doing all your life. You’re allowed to love who you want. To move on from the people who are not good to you. To let go of anyone without any kind of explanation. Without any kind of regret. You’re allowed to make mistakes. To learn from them. Or not to learn from them and experience everything all over again. You’re allowed to forget your past if you want to. Or to stay in it but you must also understand that this is not how you will grow. You’re allowed to change careers. To dress differently. To chase different dreams. To change locations, even if, at first, you’re terrified to do so. You’re allowed to dislike yourself but also allowed to change those same parts you don’t see eye to eye with. To work on them until you’re completely comfortable with who you are.
This is your life. Make it count. Make your own validation. Your own path. Your own way of life. You are enough. And you are not broken. You’re a lot stronger than you want to believe. NOW BREATHE.
When we say “STRIVE TO BE SUCCESSFUL”, we must mention SUCCESS in what form! In my eyes SUCCESS is an amazing form of accomplishment & it can be anything.
You are a good student, that’s a SUCCESS. You are a good employee who loves & enjoys his/her job, that’s SUCCESS. You are an entrepreneur or a businessman to a profitable venture, that’s a SUCCESS. You lost 10kilo body weight in a month for shooting a music video, that’s SUCCESS. You travelled 41 countries before turning 29, that’s SUCCESS. You are truthful about what you are, that’s SUCCESS. You never showed deceptive or inconsistent characteristics, that’s SUCCESS. You are confident & consistent, that’s SUCCESS. You never allowed bad times or bad people bring down your vibe, that’s SUCCESS. You were patient with time to get what you wanted, that’s SUCCESS. You baked the best sourdough pizza & sugarfree cheesecake for all your 17 friends, that’s a SUCCESS. You know your bestfriend DEMI is a crybaby & despite that you had a long conversation about all your differences in opinion while grabbing her by waist, even that’s a SUCCESS.
SUCCESS is such a wildly overrated word that makes most people scared to even think about it. We must use this word “SUCCESS” in our day to day life to feel more fulfilled in our way of living.
AS LONG AS YOU KEEP GOING, YOU’LL KEEP GETTING BETTER. AND AS YOU GET BETTER, YOU GAIN MORE CONFIDENCE. THAT ALONE IS SUCCESS. (Not my words.)
Consistent effort with clean intentions always leads to SUCCESS.
