I have come to realize that making yourself happy is most important.
Never be ashamed of what you feel because we all feel the same emotions at one point or another.
Maybe we express them in different ways, but fundamentally it’s the same, which is why we can relate to each other.
The main thing to remember is “never let anyone make you feel bad about how you’re feeling.”

If you’re having a bad day,
don’t count on others to cheer you up.
Find HAPPINESS within yourself.
We can’t always rely on others to make us feel HAPPY.
We must first find it in ourselves.

(This video got something to do with the post above. Watch this 7 minutes video for little bit understanding on personal wellbeing, purpose & happiness. Happiness is a topic worth exploring.)

4 Signs you’re MANIPULATIVE without realizing it:

1. Jealousy drives you to do risky things.

You resort to passive-aggressive tactics.
For example, you notice some friends who are not with you.

• You are offended and invite another friend to go out with you.
• You take a ton of pictures and post them on social media for all to see.
• When you feel like you’re losing control of a situation, you create another one that you can control.

Consider picking up a new hobby.
Accept that not everything other people do is related to you.

2. You’re kind of a know-it-all.

• You have the feeling that people should listen to you since you’re the one who knows the most.
• People around you may feel as though they are suffocating due to your actions.
• You may have a persistent desire to put yourself first, which may cause others to perceive you as selfish.

3. You pour attention on someone, then withdraw it if they do something wrong.

• You avoid people after an argument to prove a point.
• The point is that you don’t need them, and if they want to make up, they should go to you first.
• You feel the need to be in control.
• It’s important to remember that no one is perfect, including you.

4. You are adamant about getting your way.

• You are being persuasive.
• In some cases, you may have to go to great lengths to obtain your desired outcome.
• Assume you want candy for everyone, but others wish to have chocolate. So, what do you do? You get rid of all the chocolate, so they don’t have a choice.
• If you ever catch yourself doing these things, stop, take a deep breath, and take a step back.

Growth won’t always look the way you envisioned it.

Sometimes we can romanticize growth as only being abundance or making space for more.
But i also believe growth involves shedding, loss, and really tough shifts.
Growth is saying how you really feel.
Growth is sometimes disappointing others by choosing you.
Growth is being willing to let go even though it’s hard.
When we ask for growth, we may have to be willing to allow people, places, and opportunities to leave for our benefit.
That’s growth too.

(Not my words.)

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Very few know about my Cullinan review video in snapchat spotlight. I am an automobile enthusiast. Rolls Royce recently made two electric engine marvels. One is this prototype phase spectre, their first electric vehicle. Other one is an world’s fastest electric engine plane. Waiting to see other luxury brands to follow. Future looks good.)

You deserve to be in spaces and relationships that make you happy; that feed your soul and help you grow.
You are worthy of connections that are loving, nourishing and genuine.
Before you settle for anything less than, remind yourself that the places you visit and people you journey with through life should make you feel safe, loved and enough.

If you’re feeling frightened about what comes next, don’t be.
Embrace the uncertainty.
Allow it to lead you places.
Be brave as it challenges you to exercise both your heart and your mind as you create your own path toward happiness; don’t waste time with regret.
Spin wildly into your next action.
Enjoy the present, each moment, as it comes, because you’ll never get another one quite like it.
And if you should ever look up and find yourself lost, simply take a breath and start over.
Retrace your steps and go back to the purest place in your heart, where your hope lives.
You’ll find your way again.

Anger and resentment are two of the most toxic emotions we can feel.
There are always times when people infuriate us or hurt our feelings but we don’t confront it.
Instead we just let these negative feelings grow wild within us.
Before we know it, they have taken over us like vines crawling over every cell and organ in our body.
We should never let someone else’s problems bring us down in the first place.

(This video has something to do with the post. Amidst war, we are going through something bigger. Watch it with an open mind. Big fan of Trevor Noah & Sadhguru.)

When someone does something that upsets you, don’t hold a grudge; confront them and then do your best to put it behind you.

You will not be punished for your anger, you will be punished by your anger.

It’s easy to look back and question decisions you have made in the past, but it’s unfair to punish yourself for them.
You can’t blame yourself for not knowing back then what you know now, and the truth is you made each decision for a reason, based on how you were feeling at the time.

As we grow up we learn and we evolve.
Maybe the person you are now would have done things differently back then, or maybe you are the person you are now, because of the decisions you made back then.
Trust your journey, it’s all going to make sense soon.

True me.. Tap-941..

I used to run and hide from my feelings especially when I felt something that was upsetting, painful, or uncomfortable.
But over time I’ve learned to accept all of my feelings.
I know that in order for me to work through them, I must first honor and embrace all emotions.
They are a part of me.
Therefore they are meaningful and valid.

Pick a feeling that you’re afraid or ashamed of.
Feeling fear, anger, or sadness is okay as long as you don’t let it define you.
Embrace your emotions and remind yourself how valuable they are.
Don’t invalidate your feelings. Honor them.
