When you don’t know what to do, when you don’t know what to say, when you don’t know which direction you’re supposed to go, form your purpose by asking your true self.
Then, carry yourself forward using all the help you can get from yourself.
This journey will be messy and there is no rule book to create change and achieving greatness.

So give yourself permission to make mistakes, and to learn along the way.
What matters is your presence, not your perfection.
Face yourself.
PRESENCE is always greater compared to PERFECTION.

Be a better you.

1- Do something you’ve been procrastinating on.
What’s on your to-do list that’s been sitting there? Do it first thing in the morning, and get it out of the way. You’ll feel great about yourself.

2- Get active.
Doing something is almost always better than not doing anything. Of course, doing something could lead to mistakes, but mistakes are a part of life. That’s how we learn. Without mistakes, we’d never get better. So don’t worry about those. Just do something. Get off your butt and get active physically, or active by taking steps to accomplish something.

3- Act positive.
More than just thinking positive, you have to put it into action at right time. Action, actually is the key to developing self-confidence. It’s one thing to learn to think positive, but when you start acting on it, you change yourself, one action at a time.

(This not so old screenshot got nothing to do with the post above. It’s a small disclaimer to few of my part assholic university mates. Me & Demi, we got a ting going on since 17th century. We are bestfriends & yes we had a fight like we usually do. This dumb blonde bitch took almost an hour to reach me. Then we both had to walk a kilometre to reach car parking area. I have a backpain issue & i was little irritated because of that. Later we hugged it out after swimming, workout & some wine+pizza. Get a life & stop poking fun at what others do.)

Grudges are a waste of perfect happiness.
Laugh when you can.
Apologize when you should and let go of what you can.
Take chances.
Give everything and have no regrets.
Life is too short to be unhappy.
You have to take the good with the bad.
Smile when you’re sad.
Love what you got and always remember what you had.
Always forgive but never forget.
Learn from your mistakes but never regret.
People change and things go wrong.

At the end always remember; life is fun & life goes on.

HOW TO BECOME A BETTER VERSION OF YOURSELF EVERYDAY:

1. Become more observant. Notice everything that surrounds you. The world is full of examples, ideas, words, wisdom, mistakes and experiences.

2. Collect ideas. Ideas and thoughts tend to evaporate from your mind too fast. Try to capture them before it is too late. Ideally, write down or sketch every single one.

3. Read. Read a lot. Reading is probably the best investment of time ever. Devote at least 30 minutes per day to reading. Ideally, have a book always with you.

4. Analyze your day. Before going to bed, spend 10 minutes analyzing your day. Consider what things you managed to do well and what mistakes you made.

5. Start writing. The biggest value of a good writing skill is that it cultivates a discipline. First of all, the discipline of thinking. Your thoughts will cease to be random and chaotic. They will gradually become systematic and structured instead.

We all think about past good or bad days, then the next step is “beating yourself up in your head”. We must stop doing this to have a happy healthy state of mind.

People with strong stable mentality hold themselves accountable for their behavior. They refuse to entertain toxic self-criticism. They don’t beat themselves up when they fail or make mistakes because they know, it only harms them in the end instead. They choose a path of growth and compassion always forgiving themselves and learning from their mistakes. First step to achieve peace of mind: FORGIVE YOURSELF.

If you work too much on something even if it’s on yourself, you might feel like “I have way too much to lose”. When people look back, they often regret the things they didn’t do much more than the things they did.

It’s better to look back on your life in awe at how exciting it was instead of thinking about the what ifs and what could have been. Maybe that means you’ll make a few mistakes and wrong decisions along the way but it’s better than having regrets and broken Dreams later.

If you live with a belief that “LIFE SHOULD ALWAYS BE SMOOTH SAILING”, first you gotta work for it. Then when you meet failures, never get caught up in the thought that “things will never get better”.

Rarely is life a smooth sail. It has ups and downs and part of living is experiencing setbacks, negative emotions and making mistakes, what dictates the kind of person you become. However, it’s not the problems you face, but how you deal with them and learn from them. When it seems like all hope is lost, you’ve got to remember that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Today may be the worst day of your life, but tomorrow could be the best. You’ve just got to get there. The biggest lesson of life is; keep working on yourself.

The biggest hurdle on your way to happiness is self-loathing. Self-loathing is very similar to insecurity. And if you experience it, know that you’re not alone. Almost everyone experiences some form of self-hate at one time or another. It’s the feeling you are not enough, unworthy or undeserving of the good things in life, like love and happiness. The truth is that, everyone deserves love and happiness. But we’re often taught the opposite. It may arise from a history of abuse, cultural or social messages or being excluded.

Bad relationships, failures and many other different experiences can lead you to believe that, there is something inherently wrong with you. Well, there isn’t and self-loathing will only bring you down even if you’ve made decisions that you’re not proud of. You can learn from your mistakes, hating yourself over them will not do you any good. Let go of your self-loathing. It’s a barrier to your happiness. And you do deserve to be happy.

Well, we all make mistakes dear. So, just put it behind you. We should regret our mistakes & learn from them, but never carry them forward into the future with us.
