True me.. Tap-1398..

Nobody’s perfect.
We make mistakes.
We say wrong things.
We do wrong things.
We fall.
We get up.
We learn.
We grow.
We move on.
We live.

Read last one once again.
Live.
Live your life fully.

Nobody is asking you to be perfect.
It’s enough to just do the best you can do today with what you have inside you right now.
Oftentimes, we put too much pressure on ourselves to please other people.

Whatever you feel when you wake up is good enough; just start with that and make the most of today.

Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Do what you can.

I’m not perfect and I don’t have to be.
When I first realized this I felt an intense relief.
This realization allowed me to actually become a better person.
It gave me the strength to embrace my flaws and learn from my mistakes.
The pressure melted away.
I wouldn’t have been able to start examining my mistakes if I felt like I had to be perfect.

Once I found out it was okay to be imperfect, everything changed for the better.
Don’t criticize yourself for making mistakes.
Just be conscious not to make the same mistake twice.

Our power lies not in becoming someone else, but in unfolding/revealing to the world who we have been created to be.
You don’t need to be something else, something different or someone different.
Who you are is perfect.

So, give yourself permission to unfold, stripping down to the rawest and most authentic version of yourself, and seeing it as brilliant and valuable.

As you do, you’ll begin to see yourself living freely and glowing with light, allowing you to experience the greatness you were destined for.

Allow yourself to be you.
WHO YOU ARE IS PERFECT.

New year resolutions to consider:

• Consistently connect with people who fill you up.
• Practice being vulnerable.
• Stop fighting to be right.
• Apologize less often for things that aren’t your fault.
• Become less people pleasing.
• Allow things to be good enough instead of perfect.
• Practice what you know to true or helpful.
• Educate yourself at least 20 minutes a day (read or watch a informative video).
• Create more joyful moments.
• Follow your intuition.
• Inform others when something isn’t working for you.
(Not my words.)

I read something amazing today.
And I have to talk about it.
Here it goes;

Picasso created more than 50,000 works of art.
How many are considered masterpieces that we still admire today?

About a 100.
Less than 1% of his creations are still relevant.

Stop trying to be perfect.
It’s a numbers game.
Start creating.
Be courageous enough to share.

(This music video got nothing to do with the post above. Only bitches from my engineering school days can remind this one used to be a ting for most. Listen to it.)

Social media has made PERFECT look achievable, so now REAL has become undesirable.
Expecting perfection from life, friends, your partner, your career and from yourself is the enemy of happiness.
Instead of perfection, search for balance, contentment, fulfilment, and progress.

(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Big fan of Transformers franchise, even though the last movie was legit shit. Shared because I like it. Watch it for fun.)
