Be HONEST, that’s the easiest way to earn respect in a relationship/business or any kind of equation in this world. No one will deny that honesty is essential. In fact, it’s been important throughout all of human history to gain someone’s respect. You must first gain their trust by being honest. Why would you respect or trust someone who’s known to cheat lie or steal! Dishonesty is not a good look in any setting, whether it’s with the cashier at the grocery store or a longtime business partner.

If you want to earn respect, you must always be honest. Successful people know that if the foundation of a relationship either personal or professional spilt a trust, they will have solid ground to stand on. If that ground is cracked with lies or is crumbling due to deceit, the relationship is doomed.

People reveal a lot about their habits & personality even without knowing they are doing so. Let’s take example for “your eating habits”. In many cases behavior experts and psychologists agree that your eating habits can divulge a lot of information about your personality.

If you eat slowly, you’re more likely to be confident composed and in control. If you tend to shove with food in your mouth quickly, you’re more likely to be hot-headed & on the flip side, you’re probably also goal-oriented and ambitious. Adventurous eaters tend to be pushy or curious risk-takers. While picky eaters are known to be anxious or neurotic and pay attention to the finer details. If you like to keep your food separate, you’re probably cautious and stubborn. Shared it because i was taking a course on human psychology. Body language of a person talks a lot, no matter how smart or mature they are.

I never understood religion, i never will. It’s not about Hindu, Muslim or Christianity, it’s about forcing that belief/idea of MY GOD IS SUPERIOR OR ALIVE”. There was a time all gods were living on this planet, so is dinosaurs. Now God is gone, it’s on us humans to fight & get radical or move ahead with little gratitude & humanity. I respect your faith. I rest my case.

My equation with my people always remains one on one. I appreciate that exchange of attention & affection exact same way. And I love optimistic/enthusiastic people who believe in learning new skills & material growth associated to it. Basically those who don’t spend/waste 3-hours in window shopping or arranging closet. Time is more precious than money, and my 1-hour costs little higher compared to random crowd. If i feel like my time is being wasted, i simply snap out with a thought “I would rather invest that time somewhere else which can yield some mojo or mula”. Now talking about the bad part, there are two reasons i never talk about someone to somebody else under any good or bad circumstances:

1. Backbiting is something i can never ever understand. If i have anything against you in my head or heart, either i have told you bluntly or you are already in my block list.
2. If you have done anything to earn my hate or somehow you lost your respect in my eyes, i consider you dead. And nobody actually likes talking about dead morons.

Treat yourself with respect. It’s funny that, many seek respect from others while they don’t even respect themselves. If you want others to respect you, you need to respect yourself first. We all have our bad days, so it’s not always easy. But when you experience negative self thoughts, just remember your strengths and learn from your mistakes.

Again, respect others if you want to be someone who is respected, you need to respect others. Don’t treat someone differently because of the way they look or where they come from or the different viewpoint underneath that all the same. We all crave respect and recognition. To sum it up, respect is a direct reflection of how you treat others. In other words real respect is received through real respect given it’s a two-way street.

There is a reason why i hate this word “SORRY” and there is also a reason i appreciate those who disagree with me sensibly over serious matters. Let me answer why!!

First, stop apologizing for no reason. Saying sorry constantly without giving it a second thought doesn’t earn much respect & it doesn’t make any sense as well. There is a time and a place for apologies. Sometimes you make mistakes that affect others, you must apologize there. But stop tossing around that word everywhere for nothing. Next, stand up for what you believe. Have you ever come across someone who simply nods their head repeatedly!?! It just seems to agree with everything you say. You can tell that they’re not giving much thought to what you’re saying. It gets meaningless after a while as they just say yes to everything. Those who politely disagree and stand up for themselves get greater respect. It’s important to have a mind of your own.

Don’t be afraid to stand up for what you believe and at the same time make sure you do it in a sensible respectful manner without being SORRY for your words.

There is nothing called CONFUSION or FEAR, it’s all about SELF-ESTEEM. Those who are afraid of changes seem BORING & OLD to me. Confidence is SEXY & YOUTHFUL.

There are titles, positions and ranks that command respect through status. That said, should you blindly respect your teachers, your boss or even your parents!? What if those people aren’t behaving in a respectable manner!? What if they take advantage of their position!? Well here’s the thing, age or position shouldn’t be a prerequisite to gaining respect. It’s more about how someone conducts themselves, their attitude towards others and their actions. Respect is thoughtful consideration to another person’s words, feelings, thoughts, ideas, wishes or needs. We all want to be respected by others, but respect is something we need to earn.

If you want to be happy and successful, learning how to earn respect should be an important goal.

In this blog I talk about Money time to time. And YES I talk about it a lot. But do you wanna know there is one thing that’s more important than money!!? It’s called RESPECT. Or you can name it reputation because we consider humans as a social creature. Money can buy you everything including happiness, only thing you can’t purchase is RESPECT. You have to remain genuine & law-abiding for a long long period of time to earn some RESPECT.

There is a reason HONESTY is sexy in my eyes. I adore TRUTHFUL people, they are always cherished in my book. And I don’t need to mention; adore means LOVE & RESPECT.
